i am thinking that having a lot of plants in my next apartment is very important. i need to learn how to take care of living things. specifically i need to work on not letting them die. the money tree i bought when i first moved into my own place in d.c. has managed to cling to life for almost two years (though i’ve killed at least half a dozen attempts at additional plant friends since then — including at least one very-hard-to-neglect succulent). however, its state tends to reflect my mood. lately the thing is droopy as hell because i have been too fucking self-absorbed to fill up the capricorn mug in my bathroom and douse it with water. i haven’t decided whether i should bring it to denver. i haven’t decided a lot of things, re: that. at least i have decided a few.
